Jasmine Allanson reached out to us because her business was expanding faster than her IT system could handle.
Jasmine is the director of Inspire Ability, a creative speech, occupational and group therapy practice that works with kids who have additional needs. Inspire Ability is rapidly gaining a reputation across Newcastle for the innovative work they do and new staff members have recently joined the team. This rapid growth exposed underlying IT issues that they couldn’t manage in house, so it was time to talk to the IT experts.
Investing in IT
“I wanted better confidentiality options,” said Jasmine. Slow running computers, Microsoft Office limitations and other IT issues were also costing Jasmine valuable business time, not to mention the stress of trying to diagnose and fix the issue.
“We had a residential IT person who’d helped us out, but they weren’t ready to move us into the business realm,” said Jasmine. After five years in business, Inspire Ability had reached the ceiling of their knowledge and it was time to invest in quality IT services.
“I wanted someone that I could call and say ‘Can you fix this?’, and then it’s fixed,” said Jasmine.
Personalised solutions
We diagnosed the issues with slow computers and fixed them first. Next, we set up remote access control so we could fix problems as soon as they arose, cutting out unnecessary wasted downtime.
“Glenn is always receptive, asking how he can help, and has been really positive to deal with,” said Jasmine.

We migrated Inspire Ability over to OneDrive for Business, which gives them enterprise-level solutions like email that syncs between devices (including calendars and contacts) and Cloud-based files storage, allowing staff to access and share documents between devices.
The new system securely backs up documents, and OneDrive also provides Inspire Ability with more robust confidentiality through their Intellectual Property Protection.
“We have new email addresses that are professional and include our website domain,” added Jasmine.

Instead of fixing a problem and then walking out the door, we take a proactive approach for our clients, equipping them with tools to avoid and fix simple IT problems before they escalate.
That’s why, when Jasmine mentioned that her team needed to scan documents straight to their emails, we provided the team with a Quick Guide so they can avoid time-wasting and frustration next time.
We also worked with Jasmine to create a Tip Sheet to help her train her staff to deal with IT systems in the future.
“There are certain things you can do yourself, but IT is NOT one of those things,” said Jasmine. “It’s not the best use of my time, and I wanted someone else to deal with it efficiently.”
